Last Friday, our Grade 5 students brought “DREAM” to life, a beautiful performance born from the collaboration of our music, art, and physical education teachers. 🎭🎨🎶
Students showcased not only their artistic talents but also their growing confidence, teamwork, and creative expression. From role-playing to choreographed dances and harmonious singing, every moment reflected their hard work and unity.
These experiences build more than memory — they build character, collaboration and courage. 💫
Félicitations to our talented Grade 5 performers and the dedicated teachers who guided them. Vous nous avez rendus fiers ! 👏

Thank you to everyone who attended the launch. A special thanks to our speakers, including TFS alumnus Justin Poy `87, President and Creative Director of The Justin Poy Agency, and TFS parent Trent Mell, Founder, President, and CEO of Electra Battery Materials, and to the student founders Claire Y., Jack Y. and Oliver M.

Last week, TFS participated in the 2025 World French Schools Week under the global theme: “AI in schools: inventing the school of tomorrow.” 🤖📚
We had the honour to welcome back TFS alumnus Andrew Magnuson ’21 to campus. Andrew shared his journey from TFS to the forefront of machine learning at @nvidia , the Vector Institute and the @uoft . Our students, staff and faculty were captivated by his insights on multimodal AI, robotics and the future of technology.
Seeing a graduate paving the way in such a transformative field was truly motivational.

If you feel moved to continue this beautiful tradition, you can give in gratitude today. Your support fuels our Annual Priorities Fund, the L’Atelier project, or Student Financial Assistance, ensuring every student has the opportunity to shine.

#Rome was our classroom for a week with the Level I and II Latin classes. 🇮🇹✨
Our students walked in the footsteps of emperors at the Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. They imagined daily life two thousand years ago at Hadrian’s Villa and the Ostia Antiva, and were awestruck by the art of the Vatican museums and the size of St. Peter’s Basilica.
Afterwards, a long walk from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona all became another highlight, with something new to find at every corner.
Fuelled by excellent #Italian food and gelato, the curiosity and enthusiasm never wavered. Un #voyage inoubliable qui a rendu le monde ancien vivant et merveilleusement réel. 🌍
Giles Hall recently hosted an engaging Q&A with German singer-songwriter Luna Simão (@lunasimao)🎤✨and guitarist Diazno (@diazno) 🎸, followed by the program’s official @paschnet plaque ceremony.
The #German program is now an official member of the #PASCH network 🌍. The successful application by German teachers Stefanie Koenig and Katia Schwenteck unlocks a wealth of opportunities for students and teachers through the German government.
Luna, who creates a unique sound of #pop and #RnB, spoke about living between cultures as a “super power.” She was joined by Diazno, a multi-instrumentalist and the 2023 GEWA Talent Lab winner.
The school extends its gratitude to Luna Simão, Diazno and the @goetheinstitut_toronto for a memorable event.
